In just a few short years,\u00a0Knock2<\/a>\u00a0has gone from DJing at small San Diego clubs and producing twerk remixes to commanding stages at Ultra, Coachella and Lollapalooza, not to mention launching his own\u00a0own music festival<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What’s even crazier? All of this happened before the 25-year-old dropped his debut album, nolimit<\/a>. <\/em>With that kind of momentum, it was clear that his “nolimit tour” wouldn’t just be a showcase of the album, but a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now that the North America leg of the tour has come to a close, here’s some moments you’ll regret missing.<\/p>\n

Brand-new production “The Stack”<\/h2>\n

Debuting his new live show, “The Stack,” the EDM.com Class of 2023<\/a> star proved his tour was not just about the spectacle of visuals, lasers and pyrotechnics. Instead, it was a fully immersive experience, meticulously created to pull fans into his universe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Inspired by the cover art of “feel U luv me<\/a>,” The Stack’s central structure is built from large, retro-style speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers. Surrounding it were massive LED screens, floodlights and custom elements covered in graffiti and rave stickers. Raw, bold and intentionally over-the-top, the setup felt like a tribute to underground rave and streetwear culture.<\/p>\n

Openers and special guests<\/h2>\n

The energy of the “nolimit” tour didn’t just stop at its headliner. It was also a showcase of the crew behind him.<\/p>\n

From some of the SD Waterboys\u2014Aleko, RemK and Frosttop\u2014to other bass music staples like Holly and Wavedash, the support roster felt like a curated celebration of the scene in which Knock2 came up. No matter what date you attended, it was clear that the support would bring just as much energy as the main act.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Plus, if you got lucky, there would be a surprise appearance from his ISOKNOCK<\/a> partner-in-crime, ISOxo, his longtime best friend and collaborator.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unreleased tracks and flips<\/h2>\n

Knock2’s musicality shined throughout his electrifying 90-minute set. With a whirlwind of releases over the past two years\u2014from nolimit<\/a><\/em> to 4EVR<\/a><\/em>\u2014he faced the challenge of seamlessly blending his arsenal of fan-favorites. But he navigated it effortlessly.<\/p>\n

Opening with a custom intro, he weaved\u00a0together past and present by\u00a0showcasing his sharp ear for transitions. “feel U luv me” seamlessly intertwined with “One Chance” while “shyne 4 me” flowed into the hard-hitting “THRASH.” He kept it exciting with ISOxo’s unreleased edits of 2hollis’ “jeans” and “Stereo Love.” No matter what genre\u2014 bass house, trap or hardstyle\u2014there was never a blind spot.<\/p>\n

Even with all the music already in rotation, he still found time to create more, teasing unreleased tracks and IDs at some shows and making sure that the crowd knew that he’s not slowing down anytime soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
