Coupled with Tedder&#8217;s soaring vocals, the track\u2019s euphoric progressive house melodies defined an era of festival anthems and became a staple during what many consider the &#8220;golden age&#8221; of electronic dance music.<\/p>\n<p>After topping <em>Billboard<\/em>&#8216;s Hot Dance Club Songs chart at the time, the song solidified Alesso and Ingrosso&#8217;s reputation as masters of emotive, high-energy dance music. It is still played at major festivals all over the world today.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso - Calling (Lose My Mind) ft. Ryan Tedder\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9G1I16gJBvU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Alesso and Tedder\u00a0took to\u00a0Instagram this week\u00a0to tease a follow-up, with the latter remarking that their reunion is &#8220;long overdue.&#8221; They previously <a href=\"https:\/\/edm.com\/news\/alesso-sebastian-ingrosso-ryan-tedder-tease-calling-sequel\">teased<\/a> a sequel in the works back in February 2023, but fans have more reason to believe it&#8217;s imminent this time around.<\/p>\n<p>The superstar Swedish DJ and OneRepublic frontman\u00a0have also collaborated to release 2013&#8217;s &#8220;If I Lose Myself (Alesso Remix),&#8221; another iconic EDM record; and &#8220;Scars,&#8221; which dropped in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>With the demand for nostalgia-fueled revivals growing across the industry, fans are eager to see how Alesso and Tedder will reimagine their beloved classic. It&#8217;s important to note, however, that they have not formally announced a track at the time of this writing.
